The drying cabinet delivers heated, filtered air into instruments, trays and packs, removing moisture left after washing and disinfection. This stage is essential because moisture in a lumen or pack supports microbial growth and prevents correct storage.
The design solves the common tray-drying problem, where layered equipment dries slowly and unevenly — forced air circulation reaches every chamber level. Drying temperature and time are adjustable to suit the load.
The cabinet is used between the washer-disinfector and the packing station in a CSSD, and as a standalone unit in endoscopy suites.
