ENT endoscopy

An ENT camera chain serves rigid optics and flexible endoscopes at the same time, so simultaneous viewing of both sources and archiving of the examination in the patient record matter. We supply integrated systems with monitor, cold light source and camera in one housing — a consulting room solution — and endoscopy carts with a separate chain, workstation and printer for departments and theatres. The optics range covers otoscopes, nasal endoscopes and laryngoscopes with directions of view from 0° to 90°.

Frequently asked questions

Which optics should I choose for an ENT practice?

A basic set comprises an otoscope and a Ø2.7 or Ø4.0 mm nasal endoscope in 0° and 30° versions, plus a Ø8 mm 70° or 90° laryngoscope. The 2.7 mm diameter is the paediatric choice, while 4.0 mm gives a brighter image in adults.

Can an integrated system replace an endoscopy cart?

In a diagnostic consulting room, yes — it has camera, light source and monitor in one housing. A cart is chosen where a workstation, printer, archiving and handling of several endoscopes during one procedure are needed.
